St. Abdon’s Day Celebration - Thursday 27th July 2023

After a few tough years and a cold winter, we are inviting some of our close friends to join us on Thursday 27th July at 6.30pm

This is the time of year for St Abdon’s feast, and given he is the Coopers’ patron saint, we thought it would be most fitting to celebrate the occasion. Join us at the Coopers’ Hall to share stories, and partake of a drink or two (the £15 ticket price includes a pint* of Abdon’s Ale and some nibbles and a special edition pint glass!)

With a history of almost 800 years of ensuring food and drink is shared amongst good friends, and with thanks to our associates at the renowned Hook Norton Brewery, we have commissioned a special edition Pale Ale.

What could be better on an English summer’s evening than a pint of Abdon’s Ale?

This will be the first time in the history of the Worshipful Company of Coopers that its very own beer will be served. Join us to make history!

For the playfully competitive amongst you, there will also be a cask building race for teams of two. Can you beat the current record?

Our last few events have sold out in record time, so book your tickets early via the link below.
