Coopers visit to Household Cavalry

Last week, the Master and a party of Coopers' Company members and guests visited the Household Cavalry Regiment, with whom we are affiliated, at their Bulford Barracks.

The Household Cavalry Regiment is the senior Regiment in the British Army who has taken part in every major conflict since 1660. 

We were hosted by Household Cavalry Commanding Officer Lt Col Roly Spiller and his team as we were shown some of their fighting equipment along with the new AJAX armoured fighting vehicle. The Coopers were most impressed by the professionalism of the soldiers and officers as they shared their extensive technical knowledge. 

I think we can also say the Master Leigh Johnson particularly enjoyed the day judging by the photos.

We wish the Household Cavalry Regiment well in continuing to introduce the impressive AJAX vehicle into service.
