We are delighted to share the wonderful news that the Revd Canon Martin Poll was received by His Majesty The King at Windsor Castle last week and invested with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.
The Royal Victorian Order was established in 1896 by Queen Victoria to recognise distinguished personal service to the Sovereign and to the Royal Family. Unlike many other honours, appointments to the Order are made personally by the Monarch, without ministerial advice. As such, it represents a particularly special and personal mark of recognition.
We are proud to say Martin is a Liveryman of the Coopers' Company.
Many congratulations from the Coopers' Company on this significant occasion.
