Yesterday we held our April Court Meeting when we were especially delighted to admit six new members to the Coopers’ Company - five as Freemen and one progressing to the Livery - each bringing their own experience, perspective, and enthusiasm to our community.

The breadth of backgrounds represented among our new members reflects the evolving nature of the Company while remaining rooted in its traditions. In particular, we are proud to welcome both a second and a sixth generation Cooper, a powerful reminder of the enduring family connections that continue to shape and strengthen the Company across generations.

It was particularly special to have family members present to share in the occasion. We were delighted to welcome Pastmaster Keith Brown, attending alongside his granddaughter Emily, as well as Liverymen Ness Serrano and Melvyn Gorsuch-Browne, who joined as Daisy’s mother and grandfather respectively - each clearly proud to witness these important milestones in their families’ connections to the Company.

Following the formal proceedings at Coopers’ Hall, members and their guests gathered for a champagne reception and dinner. This provided a wonderful opportunity to extend a warm welcome in a more relaxed setting, renew friendships and celebrate the shared values and fellowship that define the Company.

Congratulations and a very warm welcome to new Freemen Elliot Archer, Nick Harkin, Daisy Jaimes, Heather Twigg, Emily Whittaker and Liveryman Harry Lim. We look forward to their active participation in the Company and to supporting them on their journey within it.

A selection of photos from the occasion. Company of Cooks provided the delicious food.
